- BEDROOM 2: two single beds;
- TWO BATHROOMS with shower, bidet and hairdryer.

Splendid terrace with deck chairs, table and chairs.

Bath towels and bed linen available for all guests.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.
Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.

If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
- From 15:00 to 21:00: EUR 15.00;
- From 21:00 to 23:00: EUR 25.00.

The apartment is located on the island of Ortigia, a labyrinth of romantic alleys and refined squares, the quintessence of Syracuse. Along with its narrow streets, there are splendid buildings and lively restaurants and cafes, while the central square, Piazza del Duomo, is one of the most spectacular in all of Sicily.
The tiny peninsula is framed by enchanting houses and walls overlooking the sea; in summer you can swim off the rocks and all year round you can admire breathtaking views. If you want to get away from the crowds of tourists, explore the hidden corners of the old Jewish ghetto, the "Giudecca".
The area, being almost completely in a restricted traffic area, can be easily visited on foot.
In the district, you will find many services: bank, post office, mini market, restaurants, bars, shops and much more.

- Piazza Duomo: 8 minutes on foot;
- Fonte Aretusa: 11 minutes on foot;

Near the apartment, it is possible to find "Mastrarua" electric minibus stop (one run every 30 minutes, from 8:00 to 20:00, one-way price of 1 euro) which allows you to reach some of the main points of interest in the city:
- The Sanctuary of the Madonnina delle Lacrime;
- The Paolo Orsi museum;
- The Archaeological Park of Neapolis
- The Fonte Aretusa;
- The Castle of Maniace;
- The bus and train station.

The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), from where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse station, less than 20 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, from the airport it is possible to reach the apartment by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in less than 20 minutes or by taking the minibus.

- IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest parking lot is 450m away from the apartment and it’s called “Talete”. It’s open 24/7 at convenient fares.

PLEASE NOTE: Ortigia is located in the Traffic-Restricted Area -ZTL in Italian- (closing days and times depending on the season).
