Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 -6/10/2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Bologna Climatic Zone E: 14 hours a day from October 15th to April 15th.

Description of the area
We are in the elegant Santo Stefano district not far from the entrance to the Giardini Margherita, the historic green lung of Bologna, always active with kiosks and activities for sports lovers and from Porta Santo Stefano which gives access to the city centre. The area is widely served by bars, food shops, pharmacies and means of transport. With a short walk through the porticoes of Santo Stefano you arrive at the Two Towers and the Piazza delle Sette Chiese and the points of greatest interest present in the most historic part of the quadrilateral. Present shortly after the Santo Stefano gate is the Baraccano complex with its small theater and further on the historic Duse Theatre.

- FROM BOLOGNA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment with the Marconi Express service to the central station. From here, you need to reach the "Carracci Stazione AV" stop, just a 3-minute walk from the station, and take bus A to get off at the "Piazza Cavour" stop. From here, you need to take bus n.16 and get off at the "Villa Hercolani" stop, just a 3-minute walk from the property.

- IF YOU TRAVEL BY CAR: the apartment is located outside the restricted traffic zone and can be reached by car. Parking on the street is paid on blue lines.
