Cozy and quiet apartment of 60 sqm, for 4 people, located on the 1st floor of a building (no elevator). The property is located near Piazza Dalmazia, from where the tram leaves to reach in a few minutes the Santa Maria Novella Station and the main attractions of the center. The University (Pole of Medicine and Pole of Social Sciences) is near the accommodation.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Florence Climatic Zone D: 11 hours a day from November 8th to April 7th.

A surcharge applies for arrivals after check-in hours:
- EUR 25 from 21:00 until 23:00;
- EUR 30 from 23:00 until 00:00;
- EUR 40 from 00:00 until 01.30

The apartment is located near Piazza Dalmazia, considered the 'heart' of the Rifredi district, overlooked by tables, excellent ice cream parlors and pastry shops, restaurants, a cinema, the Rifredi Theater (with a very lively and innovative programme), an excellent bookshop, a renowned herbalist's shop and a renowned local market (outdoors) every weekday and several shops.
In Piazza Dalmazia there is a tramway, the ideal way to get around Florence, which allows you to reach the center and the Santa Maria Novella train station.
In the neighborhood there are also sports and fitness centers, some of which with swimming pools.

- Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Baptistery of San Giovani: 5 minutes on foot to Piazza Dalmazia, 13 minutes by tramway T1 direction Santa Maria Novella (every 6 minutes), Valfonda/Santa Maria Novella stop, then 10 minutes on foot to the historic center;
- Ponte Vecchio: 5 minutes on foot to Piazza Dalmazia, 13 minutes by tramway T1 direction Santa Maria Novella (every 6 minutes), Valfonda/Santa Maria Novella stop, then 15 minutes on foot to the historic center;
- Piazza della Signoria and Uffizi Gallery: 5 minutes on foot to Piazza Dalmazia, 13 minutes by tramway T1 direction Santa Maria Novella (every 6 minutes), Valfonda/Santa Maria Novella stop, then 15 minutes on foot to the historic center;

- Le Tre Posate (restaurant): 2 minutes on foot;

The apartment is very well connected to the old town. By public transport the apartment is reached from the Santa Maria Novella train station:

- by tram (preferred for speed and frequency of runs): to be taken at the stop in Stazione (leaving from station on the left) Tram Line T1- direction Careggi, getting off at the Dalmatia or Vittorio Emanuele II stop; from Piazza Dalmazia, continue 5 minutes walk (taking the pedestrian underpass of via Mariti);

- by bus: take the 23 bus at Stazione Scalette (leaving the station on the right), direction Guidoni, get off at Guidoni-Del Prete (continue 3 minutes walk)
- by train: with local trains (lines to Pisa, Livorno, Siena) immediately getting off at Firenze Rifredi; at the station Firenze Rifredi exit on the Firenze Nova side (continue 5 minutes walk)

From the Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence you can reach the apartment thanks to the tram T2, direction Piazza Unità d'Italia (in front of the station Santa Maria Novella), getting off at the stop "Buonsignori - Liceo da Vinci", about 12 minutes walk from the property. Alternatively you can continue with the T2 to the city center (Piazza Unità d'Italia) and then take near the Santa Maria Novella station the tram T1 (direction Careggi) to get off in Dalmatian Square, closer to the apartment.
If you are travelling by car, the nearest motorway exit is Firenze Nord, from where you can continue along Viale Guidoni until Ponte di Mezzo, where via del Terzolle begins (note: one way). You can park for free or for a fee near the apartment.
