Casa Zia Ada in the heart of Salerno

Charming apartment that accommodates up to 5 people with great comfort. The accommodation is located in the historic center (ZTL), just 500m from the Duomo and a stone's throw from Piazza Sedile del Campo, the Verdi Theater and the Villa Comunale, an ideal starting point for visiting the city and its monuments. In 5 minutes on foot you can reach the seafront, full of pizzerias, bars and restaurants, and the Santa Teresa beach, from which you can enjoy a view over the entire Gulf of Salerno!

The 50mq accommodation is located on the first floor of a building NOT equipped with a lift: you need to climb a flight of stairs to access it. There is also an internal step between the living room and the kitchen.

The internal space is made up as follows:
- Kitchen with snack shelf and two stools, and kitchenette equipped with induction hob, fridge, freezer, moka and microwave
- Living room with sofa bed, dining table, TV and mezzanine (7 steps) with queen-size bed
- Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, desk and internal bathroom equipped with wc, bidet and shower box
- Second toilet with wc, bidet and shower box.

Additional services available for guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, independent heating, two fans, washer dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board.
Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee).

ATTENTION: the apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone, therefore it can only be reached on foot or by taxi.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax due to the Municipality of Salerno, equal to EUR 1.50 per night per person for the first 5 nights. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Salerno Climatic Zone C: 9 hours a day from November 22nd to March 23rd.

For check-ins between 20:00 and 00:00, a surcharge will be applied, to be paid in cash upon arrival, as follows:
EUR 20 from 20.00 to 21.00
EUR 25 from 21:00 to 22:00,
EUR 30 from 22:00 and 00:00.
It is not possible to check-in after 00:00, not even for a fee.
All late check-ins must be agreed and approved by the host.

Early check-in (before 14 am) will be possible only if there aren't guests who check out the same day and can, therefore, be confirmed only a few days before arrival.

The apartment is located in the center of Salerno, a 5-minute walk from the Verdi Theater and the Villa Comunale, the main "Garden" of the city, home to various events during the year such as the traditional "Minerva Exhibition" in the month in April and the renowned "Luci d'Artista" event during the Christmas period.
The historic center is just a few steps away, here you can be captivated by the charm of the characteristic alleys that offer evidence of a past rich in history! The area is full of churches and monuments, as well as an infinite choice of clubs of all types, restaurants, bars and pizzerias.
In 5 minutes on foot you can reach the splendid seafront and Santa Teresa Beach, from where you can admire an enchanting panorama and walk while enjoying an ice cream, or do a bit of running or rent a bicycle. In 10 minutes on foot it is possible to reach Piazza Alfano I, where you can visit the Cathedral of Salerno, the main Catholic place of worship in the city.
Proceeding through one of the main shopping streets of Salerno, Via de' Mercanti, a suggestive and ancient street that crosses the entire old city, you can reach the Provincial Art Gallery of Salerno, located on the first floor of Palazzo Pinto, a 17th century noble residence that belonged to one of the most important families of Salerno.
Finally, among the main points of interest to visit during your stay, the Arechi Castle is absolutely not to be missed. The view that opens up before you, once you reach the top of the castle, is sublime: a unique view overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, ranging from the tip of the Amalfi Coast to Agropoli, and which will leave you breathless!

- From Naples airport: with the Alibus line you can easily reach the Napoli Centrale station, where you can take the train (high speed or intercity/regional) to Salerno station and from here with bus line 006 to the stop "Concordia" 450 meters from the accommodation.

- From Salerno station: on foot in 20 minutes or with bus line 006 to the "Concordia" stop 450 meters from the accommodation.

- If you are traveling by car, pay ATTENTION: the apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone, therefore it can only be reached on foot or by taxi. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is paid on blue lines or free (NOT guaranteed) on white lines. It is also possible to leave the car for a fee at the Garage Duomo, in Via Fratelli Linguiti 2, 500 meters from the apartment.
