Bright apartment of 70 sqm, able to accommodate up to 4 people, located on the second floor of a building in the historic district of Giudecca (NO lift).
The location is certainly enviable, a few steps from the sea; in addition, it is possible to walk to the island of Ortigia and all its main points of interest.
The apartment consists of a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and two bathrooms.

The 70 sqm apartment is located on the second floor of a building without elevator.
The interior space is organized as follows:

- LIVING ROOM with double sofa bed, TV 50" (NO cable channels), fan-coil and access to a small balcony;
- KITCHEN with induction hob, dining table, fridge with freezer, moka, microwave, kitchen utensils and fan-coil;
- BEDROOM with double bed, wardrobe, desk and fan coil;
- BATHROOM I (inside the bedroom) with shower, sink, bidet and toilet;
- BATHROOM II with shower, washing machine, sink and toilet.
- SMALL BALCONY.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, heating and air conditioning via fan-coil devices (living room, kitchen and bedroom), drying rack, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

PLEASE NOTE: the inner courtyard is shared with other guests.
Pay attention to the small step at the entrance to the building.
There are three steps between the kitchen and the bedroom.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.
Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.

If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
- From 15:00 to 21:00: €15.00;
- From 21:00 to 23:00: €25.00.

It is possible to swim in the solariums located all around Ortigia, our staff will show you the closest ones!
The apartment is located in Giudecca district, in the island of Ortigia. The area takes its name from the street that branches off from Via Maestranza and that delimits, with Via Alagona, towards the sea, the district that once housed the large Jewish community of Syracuse. Not much is left of the original buildings. In the basement of "Alla Giudecca" hotel, however, it is possible to explore, with guided tours, an ancient miqweh, a system of tanks fed by running water, once connected to the now-disappeared synagogue, where ritual baths were performed. In Via della Giudecca, it is possibile to find the Teatro dei Pupi, where performances of Sicilian folk tales are held; and a little further on, in Piazza S. Giuseppe, the Aretuseo dei Pupi Museum is dedicated to this street theater tradition. In Via Alagona, in the eighteenth century Palazzo Corpaci, once the seat of the Confraternity of the Holy Spirit, there is the Cinema Museum. Today Giudecca district, especially in the evening, is very lively with locals.
In the area you will find many other services such as bank, post office, mini markets, restaurants, bars, shops and much more.

- Mercato Gusto Ortigia (minimarket): 2 minutes on foot;
- DADA Bar Delle Maestranze Food and drink (bar/restaurant): 2 minutes on foot.

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where it is possible to take the regional train to Syracuse station, 25 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, it is possible to reach the apartment from the airport by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in about 25 minutes, or with the internal buses.

- IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest parking lot is 750m away from the apartment and it’s called “Talete”. It’s open 24/7 at convenient fares.
